Very intriguing, reminds me of a book I plan to read after the one I'm on now... Food of the Gods by Terrence McKenna, practically his stance is we replaced mind opening psychedelics with drugs that increase rage and agression (Tobacco, alcohol, sugar, caffeine etc). Another stance being that the introduction of television is a visual stimulant, similar to any stimulant druglike, and that it makes us numb to our senses. The infinity machine is almost like a physical synonym of the effects visual stimuli induce to the brain but far trippier and way more awesome
